mrgregfrancis answered your question: iTunes and script. Pulp Fiction, Love Actually, Boogie Nights, Silverado, Avalon Ahhh, good point on Pulp Fiction. I’ve yet to finish Boogie Nights (got about halfway through it I think), but I was enjoying it so far. I haven’t seen Silverado, but I have it on DVD, so I shall take your suggestion good sir.
iTunes and script.
I think I’ll put QUESTION EP on iTunes. For free, of course. I ain’t nobody. And I’ll continue doing some brainwork on the anti-Perry/Lee script. The thing I’m working on now is structure. There’s 6 characters that get the most attention (they’re all connected, of course). I’m going to study other ensemble films for insight on how they were structured. I...

Anonymous asked: Not really a question, just a statement. You occasionally like my comments on Slashfilm, and so for some reason today I actually decided to look at your Twitter page and Tumblr. You write films? Not too surprising, since a lot of people on Slashfilm do that. But you also write music, too? Pretty good music? Dude, you're aces. I follow you now on Twitter, and I'm hella excited to read the...

TODAY. More work on screenplay. In between summer camp kids. Child care is a mental strain more than a physical one.
They really don’t care. If they wanna show extreme violence….they do it.
Let's get some things straight:
afternoonsnoozebutton: You do not have OCD. You like organized things and patterns and cleanliness. You do not have insomnia. You stay up late on the internet and have to wake up for school in the morning, so you get “only” 6 hours of sleep. You do not have ADD. You just were raised on a diet of TV and video games and have the attention span of a fruit fly. Don’t confuse your personality...
Sometimes, I feel like I don’t know anything about people, especially when writing a film. Once I get over that, it’s smooth sailing. Right now, I’m still in the midst of preparing to write the anti Tyler Perry/Spike Lee script. The one thing that I have to remember is to treat these characters like real people. I’ve gotten into the habit of observing people around me and...

Thom Yorke, Zombies, and Anxieties of Not Being...
In my most recent dream, I met Thom Yorke while he was DJing at a club. He was just as cool as I imagined. I also dreamed about zombies. I almost killed a kid that I thought was a zombie. Then real zombies came and I fought them off with Nick Frost. I have a bad habit of psyching myself out sometimes. Thinking that I very well could not be successful is a scary thing. It comes up often....
timtationn replied to your post: Preacher script. I would def say work on the one with the school before you do your own Duly noted.
I’ve been musing about it for a month and a half. Trying to get inside the heads of the characters (aka procrastinating). I’ll cut myself some slack—I don’t want to go into the first draft without knowing the characters pretty well. I feel like I’m nearly there. Once I get these last few key parts, I’ll be ready to start. I was hoping to shoot this script next...
I watched some stuff.
A couple weeks ago, I watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It was alright. Once you get into it, it’s kind of predictable, but the ride is fun. I’m looking forward to David Fincher’s version this fall, since his ending will be very different. The trailer looks good. Hopefully, it won’t be a beat-for-beat remake.

I'm gonna shoot a music video or 3.
I’ve been busy. Sort of. Okay, I lied. But, I have started storyboarding a music video for Airospace’s song “Demons,” which you can listen to here. I’ll post a pic of one of the storyboards later tonight. This will be one of many I’ll be doing with Airospace this year. I still want to make a short film, but maybe I’ll find a way to implement that into...
